Wellness Concepts Clinic, LLC was started by Jill Reavis, L.Ac in 2001 in Springfield, MO.  In 2003, Laurie Mecham, L.Ac  joined the practice.  

 4 years later, Jill's son Dr. Eric and his wife Dr. Tania joined Wellness Concepts Clinic.  They are both chiropractors and licensed to do acupuncture by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. 

And on Valentine's day of 2008, Jill welcomed her grandson (Future) Dr. Tanner who can be seen at the clinic occasionally handing out therapeutic smiles.

Jill Reavis-Aleman, L.Ac

Jill started as a massage therapist over 25 years ago.  She continued her training until she had her qualifications to receive her Missouri acupuncture license.  She has met her requirements to be a doctor of oriental medicine.  Jill has also received special trainings and has attended seminars for Infertility.

Dr. Eric Reavis, DC

Dr. Eric has always had a gifted touch and his mom, Jill recognized it when he was young.  She helped direct him down the right avenues so he could follow in her steps as a healer.  He has always looked to his mom as a mentor.  Dr. Eric has his biology degree in human anatomy from Cleveland Chiropractic College and in 2007, he received is Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  He has completed his 100 hrs. certification with the International Academy of Acupuncture under Dr. John Amaro and continues to apprentice under Jill Reavis to become dually certified in acupuncture.  He is Missouri State Board licensed in Acupuncture and will be licensed under the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Faith Nelson, RN, PhD

Faith has been a health care professional for 30 years. Her experience crosses many areas of allopathic and natural health care. She has passionately pursued her interests in Integrative Medicine and has acquired insight and aptitude on integrative approaches. 

Faith has been cross-trained in all disciplines and areas of expertise in varied Intensive Care settings, including Premie Nursery, Cardiac Care, Surgical Intensive, ER, Neuro Intensive, Burn Unit, and Psychiatric Intensive. During the 15 years in these specialty areas as a clinician and supervisor, she pursued her interests in the eclectic fields of Integrative Medicine. Her practice was blended with in-patient care settings until 1998, when she pursued development of the Outpatient Integrative Services along with the development of the Fibromyalgia Program at St. John's Regional Health Center. Faith completed her PhD at Greenwich University in Integrative Medicine and a PhD in Spiritual Healing/Energy Medicine through HOLOS University, with Dr. Norman Shealy as her mentor.

Her special interests are in the field of biotherapeutics, electromedicine, and electro-acupuncture, with an eclectic background having a wide range of skills, trainings, and certifications in the fields of Biofeedback, Auriculotherapy, Licensed Massage Therapist, Clinical Essential Oils instructor, Reflexology/Acupressure, Touch for Health Level 4, PKP level 3, Reiki Master, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and other Energy Medicine work.

LAURIE MECHAM, L.AC

Laurie Mecham is a board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbologist.  Laurie graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico and returned to Missouri to build her practice.  She has been a part of the integrated health care team at Wellness Concepts Clinic since 2002.  In keeping with Traditional Chinese Medicine, Laurie believes that emotional, spiritual, and physical health are interrelated.  Using Traditional Chinese Medicine in combination with nutrition and lifestyle counseling, Laurie ensures that each of her patients benefits as much as possible from her holistic approach to health care.

Dr. Tania Reavis, DC

Dr. Tania has her bachelor's degree in Biology.  She graduated Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2003.  She had her certification for acupuncture in Kansas City through Dr. Beem of Cleveland Chiropractic College.  She has taken additional classes through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Rebecca Chrestman, DOM

Rebecca Chrestman has been practicing acupunture and herbs since 2003. She graduated from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in 2002 with a Masters of Oriental Medicine. 

She is a Diplomat in Acupunture & Herbs and has her Doctorate in New Mexico since 2003.

Rebecca was trained in Traditional Chinese medicine in college and has expanded on treatments since being in business.

She integrates Master tung ching chang style 'The magic points', which have been used for over 300 years. 

 She integrates auriculotherapy, cupping, moxa, and herbs into all treatments in order to restore balance into the body. Over the past 3-4 years Dr. Chrestman has focused on physical and emotional disorders as well as gynecological disodrders such as PMS and infertility.

Rebecca brings to Springfield, her expertise in pediatric conditions such as Asthma, Allergies, ADHD and digestive disorders.

Acugems facial rejuvination is another wonderful therapy offered by Rebecca.
